About Pride in the Park (Southwest Wisconsin)
Pride in the Park is the Southwest Rainbow Alliance's annual festival in Platteville's City Hall Park. It offers food and art vendors, support services, music, a family-friendly drag show and a silent auction that funds scholarships.
The 2026 festival was the sixth annual Pride in the Park, held downtown at City Park at the corner of North Bonson and Market streets. The afternoon program opened at noon with the band CW2 in the park, followed at 1 p.m. by the Perfect Harmony Chorus, Madison's LGBT and ally tenor and bass chorus, at the First Congregational United Church of Christ, and at 2 p.m. by musician Sarah Day.
The Southwest Rainbow Alliance runs a digital silent auction in the week leading up to the festival, closing that afternoon, with proceeds supporting SWRA scholarships. The group relies on volunteers and donations, and it recruits vendors for food and drinks, arts and crafts and community organizations. Everyone is welcome, and organizers encourage attendees to support the LGBTQIA+ community by shopping with festival vendors.
