About Middleton Pride
Middleton Pride is a free, family-friendly festival at Stone Horse Green in Middleton, west of Madison. It features drag story hours, local music and school ensembles, crafts, games and about 30 vendors and community groups.
Middleton Pride is presented by Visit Middleton, the city's official destination marketing organization, and 2026 marked its third festival. The afternoon brings together music, performances and activities for all ages, along with vendors, local organizations and queer-affirming businesses.
The 2026 stage schedule included a drag king story time with Wild Ride, a Pride proclamation from the mayor, the Glacier Creek Middle School ensemble, the Middleton High School Bristol Street and Chamber Singers, and a drag queen story time with Madam Lacy. Crafts and games ran through the afternoon.
About a dozen restaurants sit within walking distance of Stone Horse Green, and visitors are welcome to bring lunch to eat on a blanket or at the bistro tables. People can also bring their own chairs and alcohol in non-glass containers, such as canned beer from Longtable Beer Cafe across the street.
