Staten Island Pride Festival

The Staten Island Pride Festival is a free outdoor festival run by the Pride Center of Staten Island at Snug Harbor Cultural Center. It features live music, artists, craft vendors, food and performances, with a shuttle from the ferry terminal.

The Pride Center of Staten Island is the borough's LGBTQIA+ community center, now an independent nonprofit incorporated in New York State with 501(c)(3) status. Its mission is to support the well-being of LGBTQIA+ and allied communities through programs that build community, advocate for LGBTQIA+ interests, educate and empower, and provide social support.

The center offers services, special events, community activities and educational workshops, including Golden Rainbow programming for elder adults 50 and older. It describes itself as a brave space where people respect one another, recognize the difference between intention and impact, and make room for different points of view. It also acknowledges that it sits on Munsee Lenape land, which Native communities called Aquehonga Manacknong. The center's website lists its programs, workshops and calendar, and people can support it by volunteering or donating.

Pride events celebrate LGBTQ+ people and mark the Stonewall uprising of June 1969. Most combine a parade or march with a festival of performers, community groups, vendors and food.

The organizer has not announced dates for 2027 yet. In 2026 it was held May 30, 2026. It usually falls late May or early June, as part of PrideFest events.
