Pride South Coast

Pride South Coast is a regional Pride festival presented by the South Coast LGBTQ+ Network, a nonprofit that offers free services to LGBTQ+ people in southeastern Massachusetts. The 2026 festival was held at Weir River Waterfront Park in Taunton with performers and vendors.

The South Coast LGBTQ+ Network was founded in 2014 by seven LGBTQ+ community agencies and the Community Foundation of Southeastern Massachusetts, so that queer people in New Bedford, Fall River, Taunton and nearby towns would have the same access to community and advocacy found in bigger cities. It is a 501(c)(3) with a four-star Charity Navigator rating.

Its core programs are free and require no insurance: case management, home visiting and mentoring for LGBTQ+ youth through age 24 and their families, case management and friendly visitors for elders 60 and over, and services for trans and nonbinary residents of every age. The network is also renovating a former homeless shelter in New Bedford into the region's first dedicated LGBTQ+ community center, with about $800,000 still needed to finish the build.

The 2026 festival ran from noon to 5 p.m. on June 6, and the network bills it as the largest LGBTQ+ celebration on the South Coast.

Pride events celebrate LGBTQ+ people and mark the Stonewall uprising of June 1969. Most combine a parade or march with a festival of performers, community groups, vendors and food.

The organizer has not announced dates for 2027 yet. In 2026 it was held June 6, 2026. It usually falls early June.
