Toledo Pride

Toledo Pride is a three-day weekend at Promenade Park in downtown Toledo. It opens Friday with a kick-off party and the Nite Glo 5K, has a Saturday parade down Adams Street followed by a festival with music and vendors, and ends Sunday with a 21-and-over brunch bar hop. The official site says more than 200 groups march in the parade.

Toledo Pride describes itself as Northwest Ohio's largest event for the LGBTQIA+ community, and 2026 marked 17 years of Pride. The weekend opens with the family-friendly Nite Glo 5K and a one-mile fun run, followed by a kick-off party with local bands, drag, DJs and food trucks. The festival after the parade has two stages, chill zones, vendors and family activities, and Sunday's Big Rainbow Bar Hop uses a single wristband for food and drink specials at bars across Uptown.

Parade groups stage on Adams Street between 17th and 13th streets in the morning. The route runs along Adams from 13th Street to Summit Street, then along Summit to Jefferson Avenue, where marchers are dismissed. Entry is free, with a suggested $25 donation, and the parade goes on rain or shine. To keep things safe and clean, participants hand items to spectators instead of throwing them.

Sponsorships support the festival, parade, 5K, safety, volunteers and year-round outreach through the Pride of Toledo Foundation, which also has a Pride Center. The organization's stated mission is to celebrate and educate the LGBTQIA+ community in Toledo and the surrounding area while fighting for equal rights.

Pride events celebrate LGBTQ+ people and mark the Stonewall uprising of June 1969. Most combine a parade or march with a festival of performers, community groups, vendors and food.
