Winter PrideFest

Winter PrideFest is a multi-day winter Pride festival in Bend and around Central Oregon, founded and hosted by the nonprofit OUT Central Oregon. It combines drag, comedy, DJs, bingo, and dance parties, including an event at Mt. Bachelor. It is the organization's largest fundraiser for year-round LGBTQ+ programs.

Winter PrideFest began in 2018 with about 150 local participants and grew to nearly 3,000 attendees in 2026, drawing visitors from across the country and abroad. Organizers note that the festival also helps local tourism, bringing winter business to hotels, restaurants, venues and outdoor recreation around Central Oregon.

The weekend pairs nationally recognized performers with local talent. Tickets are sold by individual event, with some events bundled at a discount, and attendees can get Mt. Bachelor discounts and a reduced rate at the Waypoint Hotel in Bend by calling the hotel and mentioning the festival. OUT Central Oregon has also offered scholarships connected to the festival through an application period. Organizers describe the weekend as equal parts party and community gathering, with events spread across Bend and nearby.

Pride events celebrate LGBTQ+ people and mark the Stonewall uprising of June 1969. Most combine a parade or march with a festival of performers, community groups, vendors and food.

The next edition is February 25-28, 2027. It usually falls late February or early March.
