Beaverton Pride in the Park

Pride Beaverton hosts an annual Pride in the Park that opens with a short parade. The afternoon festival features drag, music, and other performers, more than 130 vendors, and food from local Beaverton businesses.

Pride Beaverton describes itself as the home base for LGBTQIA+ Pride on the westside. Its stated purpose is to bring acknowledgement, support and joy to LGBTQIA+ people in Beaverton, and it pairs its celebrations with opportunities for engagement and education. The group's long-term vision is a world free from oppression, where Pride exists to honor the past.

The parade is open to marchers who want to take part, and it moves through Beaverton's historic downtown district. Organizers note that the route is refined from year to year.

Quinn Simpson co-founded the organization in 2018 and has handled its website and outreach since. It is led by a board with a president, a treasurer and committees for governance, communications, programming and Pride in the Park itself. Board members include longtime Beaverton residents with ties to local civic groups such as the Beaverton Area Chamber and a neighborhood association.

Pride events celebrate LGBTQ+ people and mark the Stonewall uprising of June 1969. Most combine a parade or march with a festival of performers, community groups, vendors and food.

The organizer has not announced dates for 2027 yet. In 2026 it was held June 28, 2026. It usually falls late June.
