Prideville

Prideville is Prineville's small-town Pride festival held at Pioneer Park. Its 2026 slogan was Small Town, Big Pride.

Prideville held its sixth annual festival in 2026, keeping its tradition as an all-ages, substance-free and family-friendly event. The afternoon festival centers on a main stage with music and entertainment throughout the day, and performers and crowd entertainers, such as face painters and aerial artists, can sign up through the participant registration form.

Vendors pay a modest fee, with no fee for participants who have returned since the first festival in 2021. LGBTQ+ and BILAPOC-owned businesses get priority and a 50 percent discount. Nonprofit community resource partners take part at no cost, with priority for groups serving marginalized communities in Crook County and Central Oregon, and rainbow and BILAPOC pride items are encouraged.

The festival also depends on day-of volunteers, in-kind donations and people who spread the word. Supporters can buy shirts, stickers and buttons year-round, and local businesses can sign on as sponsors.

Pride events celebrate LGBTQ+ people and mark the Stonewall uprising of June 1969. Most combine a parade or march with a festival of performers, community groups, vendors and food.

The organizer has not announced dates for 2027 yet. In 2026 it was held June 28, 2026. It usually falls late June.
