Eugene/Springfield Pride Festival

The Eugene/Springfield Pride Festival is an annual one-day festival at the Lane Events Center in Eugene. It features performances, exhibits, and community spaces, with a focus on arts, culture, and education.

The name of Eugene's Pride organization doubles as its mission: Promotes Respect in Diverse Expression, with a focus on arts, culture and education for people of all gender identities and sexual orientations. The festival moved to the Lane Events Center in 2025, and that first year there drew the largest crowds in its history. Organizers used what they learned to plan the 2026 festival in the same space.

Planning is open to the community. Monthly meetings take place at The Lavender Network at 1590 Willamette Street in midtown Eugene, with a virtual option for people who cannot attend in person. Volunteers can join teams covering entertainment, vendors and exhibitors, promotion, scholarships, sponsors, hospitality and accessibility, as well as a sober circle and an interfaith area that are part of the festival grounds.

The festival traditionally includes a rally and march, with its own planning team. For 2026, the board, community organizers, activists and the planning team decided together to cancel the rally and march after extended discussion, while the festival itself went ahead.

Pride events celebrate LGBTQ+ people and mark the Stonewall uprising of June 1969. Most combine a parade or march with a festival of performers, community groups, vendors and food.

The organizer has not announced dates for 2027 yet. In 2026 it was held June 27, 2026. It usually falls late June.
