Brazos Valley Pride Weekend

Brazos Valley Pride Weekend is organized by the Pride Community Center serving Bryan-College Station. The 2026 weekend included a kickoff party with drag and live music, an 18+ pool party at the Bryan Aquatic Center, a drag and burlesque brunch, and a family-friendly Pride in the Park with more than 20 vendors in Navasota.

Pride Community Center was founded in 2010 to serve LGBTQ+ people in the Brazos Valley. It is a grassroots organization led by a board of directors and a volunteer executive director and staff, and its goals include educating the public about sexual orientation and gender identity, advocating for civil rights, offering resources and referrals, and building outreach programs across the region. The group, which uses the name Pride Brazos for the weekend, is working toward a physical office.

Pride Weekend has opened with a kickoff party at The 101 in downtown Bryan. The 18+ night has featured a drag show, live music, a taco truck and tables from local groups such as Carabiner Collections, SARC and BIIN. Entry was free before 9 p.m., with a $5 cover after that.

The late-night pool party at the Bryan Aquatic Center is also 18+ and requires a wristband bought in advance, priced at $15 in 2026, because space is limited. Alcohol, glass, smoking and pool toys are not allowed. Organizers provide music, some food and drinks, and guests bring their own towels.

Pride events celebrate LGBTQ+ people and mark the Stonewall uprising of June 1969. Most combine a parade or march with a festival of performers, community groups, vendors and food.

Brazos Valley Pride Weekend has included kickoff party, pool party, brunch and pride in the park.

The organizer has not announced dates for 2027 yet. In 2026 it was held June 12-14, 2026. It usually falls mid-June weekend.
