Folsom Family Pride Festival

The Folsom Family Pride Festival is a free, family-oriented Pride festival at Folsom City Lions Park, with ASL-interpreted entertainment and vendors. 2026 is its second annual festival.

Folsom Family Pride began as a community gathering and has grown into a volunteer-run nonprofit. Its mission is to create a safe, welcoming space where people of every sexual orientation and gender identity can express themselves and make connections, and it describes itself as serving LGBTQIA+ people, families and allies across differences in identity, ability, age and experience.

The festival is free and open to all ages, supported by sponsors, volunteers, vendors and donors. The program includes live music, speakers, local food vendors and family activities. The 2026 festival is scheduled for Sunday, October 11, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Folsom City Lions Park.

The group also does outreach and builds community partnerships through the year, with the goal of linking LGBTQIA+ residents and families with allies and local resources and keeping a visible, welcoming presence in the Folsom area.

Pride events celebrate LGBTQ+ people and mark the Stonewall uprising of June 1969. Most combine a parade or march with a festival of performers, community groups, vendors and food.
