Monmouth Has Pride

Monmouth Has Pride is a free, all-ages celebration in Main Street Park. It offers a hot dog picnic, activities, live performances, and a vendor market. The 2026 event was its sixth annual celebration.

Monmouth Has Pride takes place at the Main Street Amphitheater Park in Monmouth, Oregon, on the first Saturday in June. Organizers describe it as a family-friendly event built around love, inclusion, diversity and acceptance, and the day includes a parade that community groups can apply to join.

The vendor market has grown steadily. The 2025 event hosted 60 vendors and exhibitors along with a free hot dog lunch and three family activities, and more than 70 vendors applied for the following year. Applications typically open in late February or early March. The event is kept going in part by sales of T-shirts and tote bags, with proceeds going directly to the celebration. Merchandise is sold through an online store on Zeffy, where adding a tip at checkout is optional.

Pride events celebrate LGBTQ+ people and mark the Stonewall uprising of June 1969. Most combine a parade or march with a festival of performers, community groups, vendors and food.

The organizer has not announced dates for 2027 yet. In 2026 it was held June 6, 2026. It usually falls early June.
