My Hollywood Pride

My Hollywood Pride is a free Pride festival in Hollywood, Florida, presented by the Hollywood LGBTQ+ Council. The 2026 edition, its fifth, moved to the ArtsPark at Young Circle and ran from afternoon into the evening. The council also promotes related events through the year.

My Hollywood Pride grew out of the Hollywood LGBTQ+ Council, a community group founded in 2019 to unite LGBTQ+ residents and push for equity in the City of Hollywood, which now counts more than 2,000 members. The council produced the first festival on January 22, 2022, and afterward formed My Hollywood Pride, Inc. as a 501(c)(3) to run it each year. Because it takes place so early in the year, organizers bill it as the first Pride festival anywhere in the world, with the slogan Pride Starts Here.

The festival is planned entirely by volunteers, and organizers say sponsorships and donations go to the festival and the council's ongoing work rather than administrative overhead. Programming includes youth and family zones, cultural activations and live performances. The 2026 theme was Out and Proud: 5 Years Young.

Satellite events run through the season, including the Circle of Pride networking social, an Ugly or Fabulous Sweater holiday party with karaoke, a Queer Comedy Night featuring South Florida comedians, the Pride 100 Brunch celebrating Hollywood's perfect score on the Municipal Equality Index, and the My Hollywood Queen and King Pageant.

Pride events celebrate LGBTQ+ people and mark the Stonewall uprising of June 1969. Most combine a parade or march with a festival of performers, community groups, vendors and food.

The organizer has not announced dates for 2027 yet. In 2026 it was held January 24, 2026. It usually falls late January, on a Saturday.
