Wilton Manors Stonewall Pride

Wilton Manors Stonewall Pride is an annual parade and street festival on Wilton Drive in Wilton Manors, in greater Fort Lauderdale, held in June in honor of the 1969 Stonewall Riots. The festival includes vendor booths, food trucks and entertainment stages, followed by an evening parade. It is run by Stonewall Pride I Inc., a nonprofit partner of Hotspots Happening Out.

The parade and street festival are always held on the Saturday of Father's Day weekend. The street festival and all-day entertainment start at 3 p.m., followed by a Glow Night Parade at 8 p.m., and the event officially ends at 11 p.m., though bars and nightclubs along Wilton Drive keep going into the early morning. The event draws more than 50,000 spectators, and an independent study found it has a direct economic impact of more than $6 million for Wilton Manors.

Admission is charged for adults and children 12 and older, with discounts for advance purchases, and all entrances are cashless. Ticket revenue helps cover public safety, security and a production cost of about $1 million. There is no free parking in Wilton Manors; city lots, including Hagen Park, and meters cost $25, so organizers recommend ridesharing, carpooling or public transit. The event is also livestreamed.

Stonewall Pride I Inc. is part of Hotspots Happening Out, an alliance of 501(c)(3) nonprofits that also includes PrideFête, Art Walk Wilton Manors, Taste of the Island Wilton Manors, Pride Skate Night, Hotspots Magazine and the Happening Out Television Network.

Pride events celebrate LGBTQ+ people and mark the Stonewall uprising of June 1969. Most combine a parade or march with a festival of performers, community groups, vendors and food.
