About Pride Fort Lauderdale
Pride Fort Lauderdale, formerly known as Pride South Florida, is one of Florida's oldest Pride organizations. In February 2025 its board voted to dissolve and transfer the event to Hotspots Happening Out, which also produces Stonewall Pride in Wilton Manors. The official site now promises a return in early 2027.
What to expect
Pride events celebrate LGBTQ+ people and mark the Stonewall uprising of June 1969. Most combine a parade or march with a festival of performers, community groups, vendors and food.
