Orgullo Oak Cliff Pride

Orgullo Oak Cliff is a neighborhood Pride celebration and market in the Oak Cliff area of Dallas, presented with Texas Latino Pride. The 2025 edition on June 21 was a free, all-ages evening with a drag show, local vendors, music, food and free STI testing.

Orgullo Oak Cliff is presented with Texas Latino Pride, a volunteer-led nonprofit based in Dallas-Fort Worth that celebrates the cultural heritage and achievements of Hispanic and Latinx LGBTQIA people in Texas. Its mission is to build unity and solidarity between the Latino and LGBTQ communities by celebrating shared experiences and identities, and to form partnerships that improve access to education, health services and advocacy.

The founders say they created the organization so no one has to leave part of themselves at the door, so that a grandmother's Spanish and a partner's hand can share the same room. The group is community-elected and relies on volunteers, and it works to keep its events free, including admission to its main festival.

Beyond neighborhood events like Orgullo Oak Cliff, Texas Latino Pride runs year-round programming across the Dallas-Fort Worth area and an annual festival at Reverchon Park with dozens of vendors, performances, food and drinks. It is also building a newsletter in English and Spanish.

Latinx Pride events center Latino and Hispanic LGBTQ+ people, often with bilingual programming, music, food and community organizations.

Orgullo Oak Cliff Pride has included festival, market, drag show and health testing.

The organizer has not announced dates for 2027 yet. It usually falls late June.
