Texas Latino Pride Festival

Texas Latino Pride is a Dallas-Fort Worth nonprofit that celebrates the Latino and LGBTQ+ communities and holds a free annual festival at Reverchon Park in Dallas. The 2026 festival ran from 3 to 10 p.m. with drag performers and music, and was part of a weekend that included an art exhibit at the Oak Cliff Cultural Center and a closing brunch.

Texas Latino Pride is a volunteer-led 501(c)(3) in Dallas-Fort Worth that honors the cultural heritage and achievements of Hispanic and Latinx and LGBTQIA communities in Texas. Its mission is to build unity between those communities by celebrating shared experiences and identities, and to form partnerships that improve access to education, health services and advocacy. Its founders, Alejandro Arango and Martha Gonzalez, have said they built it so that no one has to leave part of who they are at the door.

The annual festival at Reverchon Park brings together music, dance, food and cultural activities, with dozens of vendors and performances and free admission. Donations help keep the festival free and fund community programming throughout the year, including gatherings across the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

Beyond the festival, the organization provides educational resources and advocacy support and works with other groups to connect community members with services. Its leadership is chosen by the community, and it invites people to volunteer at the festival, join a committee or bring their own ideas. The group communicates in both English and Spanish.

The organizer has not announced dates for 2027 yet. In 2026 it was held September 12, 2026. It usually falls second Saturday of September.
