Palm Beach Pride

Palm Beach Pride is a two-day festival at Bryant Park in Lake Worth Beach presented by Compass LGBTQ+ Community Center. A Sunday morning parade travels through downtown Lake Worth Beach along Lucerne and Lake avenues to the park. The festival has live entertainment, all-ages activities and more than 140 vendors and sponsors.

Palm Beach Pride is produced by Compass Community Center, which has served LGBTQ+ people in Palm Beach County for nearly 40 years and calls itself the oldest continuously operating LGBTQ+ community center in South Florida. Its mission is to engage, empower and enrich the lives of LGBTQ+ people and those affected by HIV and AIDS, and the center offers services such as HIV and STI testing at its building on North Dixie Highway in Lake Worth Beach.

The festival draws more than 30,000 people over the weekend, according to organizers citing The Palm Beach Post. Admission is sold as a one-day ticket good for either Saturday or Sunday, and the youth tent includes free face painting. Food vendors set up in the northeast part of Bryant Park, and leashed pets are welcome.

The Sunday parade steps off at 11 a.m. and travels east on Lake Avenue from Dixie Highway to Bryant Park. Floats, cars, trucks, golf carts and walking groups can all take part. Weapons, coolers, outside food and drink, glass and large bags are not allowed in the park, and drones need approval. Volunteer shifts run from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on both days, and the festival also books local DJs, drag artists, bands, dancers and poets.

Pride events celebrate LGBTQ+ people and mark the Stonewall uprising of June 1969. Most combine a parade or march with a festival of performers, community groups, vendors and food.

The organizer has not announced dates for 2027 yet. In 2026 it was held March 28-29, 2026. It usually falls last weekend of March.
