Stockton Pride Festival

The Stockton Pride Festival is a free downtown festival run by the volunteer-led nonprofit Stockton Pride for the LGBTQIA2S+ community of Stockton and San Joaquin County. 2026 marked its 15th annual festival.

Stockton Pride is a volunteer-led 501(c)(3) that works to celebrate, uplift and advocate for the LGBTQIA2S+ community across Stockton and San Joaquin County. Its mission centers on community empowerment and on creating safe spaces where people of every sexual orientation, gender identity and background are respected, and it describes its work as a year-round commitment to visibility, inclusion and equity.

For more than 15 years, the festival has brought together LGBTQIA2S+ residents, families, allies, businesses, artists, entertainers and nonprofits. The day offers live entertainment, local vendors, food and health resources, and vendor spaces are open to nonprofits, artisans, retailers, food sellers and service providers from across the Central Valley. The 2026 theme was Rooted in Community, Resilient in Action. Donations and volunteers keep the festival free.

Pride events celebrate LGBTQ+ people and mark the Stonewall uprising of June 1969. Most combine a parade or march with a festival of performers, community groups, vendors and food.

Stockton Pride Festival has included festival and health resources.

The organizer has not announced dates for 2027 yet. In 2026 it was held September 19, 2026. It usually falls september.
