Lodi Pride

Lodi Pride is a community Pride festival organized by the group A New Lodi.

Lodi held its first Pride Festival in 2020. It is organized by A New Lodi, a local nonprofit that works to improve local government policy, amplify BIPOC, migrant and LGBTQIA+ voices and build community through events. The festival is run entirely by volunteers, and community members can attend planning meetings announced on the group's social media.

The festival is built around five pillars: acceptance, warmth, education, community and wellness. It features games, performances, poets and speakers, with low-key entertainment such as poetry and solo musicians, vendor booths for nonprofits and local artisans, arts and crafts and other activities for kids, and craft beer from Idol Beer Works. Jess Moreno chairs the committee for the 2027 festival.

Pride events celebrate LGBTQ+ people and mark the Stonewall uprising of June 1969. Most combine a parade or march with a festival of performers, community groups, vendors and food.

The organizer has not announced dates for 2027 yet. In 2026 it was held June 6, 2026. It usually falls early June.
