Tracy Pride

Tracy Pride is an annual Pride celebration in Tracy. The 2026 edition, titled Rise Up, is its fifth.

Tracy Pride was established in 2022 after being imagined during 2020 and 2021. It exists to produce the city's annual LGBTQ Pride event and related gatherings, encouraging LGBTQ residents and allies in Tracy and nearby communities to take pride in themselves, their community and their shared cultural history.

The organization's guiding principles include fostering community and encouraging LGBTQ people to live openly, educating the public about LGBTQ heritage, building fellowship among supportive businesses, professionals and charities, opposing prejudice based on sexual orientation and gender identity, and serving as positive role models for LGBTQ people and allies. Volunteers help set up, break down and assist visitors on event day, and vendors apply online in advance. The group also commits to regular outreach so LGBTQ residents and allies know about its purpose and the events it sponsors, and to encouraging communication and mutual support across those communities.

Pride events celebrate LGBTQ+ people and mark the Stonewall uprising of June 1969. Most combine a parade or march with a festival of performers, community groups, vendors and food.
