About Trans Pride LA

Trans Pride LA is a free festival organized by the Los Angeles LGBT Center's Trans Lounge and Trans Wellness Center. It is held at the Center's Hollywood campus and includes a block party, performances, wellness workshops, a market, and a resource fair for the trans and gender-expansive community.

Trans Pride Los Angeles describes itself as the longest-running Pride celebration in the country dedicated to transgender, gender nonconforming, nonbinary and intersex people. It is hosted by the Los Angeles LGBT Center's Trans* Lounge and Trans Wellness Center, and the free festival is open to everyone. The 2026 edition was hosted by Lo Colby.

The 2026 program mixed celebration with practical support. Activities included Marsha's Flower Crown Workshop with Classroom of Compassion, tarot readings, glitter and gem face art, and TrueVoice vocal development workshops. APAIT offered free on-site HIV and STI testing, and the day included an opening plenary tied to the Circa: Queer Histories Festival.

The Trans Wellness Center, located on Wilshire Boulevard in Koreatown, brings a wide range of services for transgender and nonbinary people under one roof, including primary care, therapy, support groups, HIV and STI testing, substance use services and help with insurance. Its groups include a Spanish-language support group for TGI+ community members and Black Trans F.A.M., a biweekly space for Black trans women, nonbinary and intersex people. The Trans* Lounge operates from the Center's Village campus in Hollywood, which also houses support groups, legal services and youth programs.
