Vancouver Pride Block Party

The Vancouver Pride Block Party is a downtown Pride street event in Vancouver, Washington, held in June.

The block party is hosted by Dandelion Teahouse and Apothecary, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in downtown Vancouver, and it relies entirely on community support. The 2026 edition drew more than 5,000 people, with 120 organizations and vendors and 20 local performers. It fills 7th Street in front of Dandelion between Washington and Main, Main Street from 6th to 8th, the alley behind the building, and a second stage inside Our 3rd Space.

All ages are welcome. Activities have included a goat petting zoo, a fashion show, story time with free books, a Disco Diva history walk with prizes, a photo booth, face painting, axe throwing, tarot readings and a snack zone, and pets are welcome. Bloodworks has taken blood donations on site, and voter registration has been available.

Parking downtown is very limited, so organizers suggest transit or carpooling, and free C-TRAN bus passes can be picked up at Dandelion. Garages are at 6th and Washington and at 8th and Broadway. Sidewalks stay open and accessible, a first aid booth offers water, sunscreen and earplugs for anyone feeling overstimulated, and a trained de-escalation team is on hand.

Pride events celebrate LGBTQ+ people and mark the Stonewall uprising of June 1969. Most combine a parade or march with a festival of performers, community groups, vendors and food.
