Fort Bend County Pride Festival

Fort Bend County Pride hosts an annual Pride festival for Fort Bend County, southwest of Houston. The 2026 festival was held at the Rosenberg Civic Center with a space theme. It includes live performances, vendor booths, food and art.

Fort Bend County Pride is a nonprofit that works to educate the wider community, promote equality and encourage civic involvement in Fort Bend County and nearby areas. It focuses on leadership and coalition building, and one of its stated goals is to raise money for and develop the first LGBTQ community center in the county.

The 2026 festival carried the theme Futuristic Pride: A Celebration Beyond The Stars, with space-themed attractions, galactic decor, live entertainment, vendors, food, music, art, interactive exhibits and photo spots. The festival is held indoors and goes on rain or shine, and it does not include a parade.

Donations support the annual festival as well as quarterly events through the year. Volunteers help plan large events and educational programs, raise funds, and carry out outreach and advocacy, while sponsors and vendors help cover the cost of the day.

Pride events celebrate LGBTQ+ people and mark the Stonewall uprising of June 1969. Most combine a parade or march with a festival of performers, community groups, vendors and food.

The organizer has not announced dates for 2027 yet. In 2026 it was held September 12, 2026.
