Lititz Pride Festival

The Lititz Pride Festival is a free, family-friendly festival presented by Lancaster County Chooses Love with live entertainment. Attendees reach the festival site by shuttle from downtown Lititz.

Lancaster County Chooses Love began in 2021 after a Lititz resident reported repeated vandalism of her Pride flag. The community response led to the first Lititz Pride Festival that year, and the group has since grown into a trans-led 501(c)(3) mutual aid organization serving the wider Lancaster area. It runs a resource center with a food pantry open to anyone, without a public assistance requirement, and a gender-affirming closet. In 2026 Trans Minors Rights merged into the organization, adding youth advocacy, gender-affirming resources, materials for health care providers and programs linking trans youth and elders.

The festival takes place at 727 Furnace Hills Pike, a Rock Lititz property, and there is no on-site parking for general attendees. Visitors park at the TAIT lot at 401 W. Lincoln Avenue or in free public parking downtown and ride one of three shuttle routes. Shuttles run about every 20 minutes starting at 10:30 a.m., with the last pickup to the festival at 5:30 p.m. and the last ride back at 6:30 p.m. Drop-offs and rideshare can go straight to the venue.

Everyone passes a security checkpoint, where bags are searched, and receives a wristband that must be worn all day. Volunteer Pride Peacekeepers are on site throughout the festival. A small number of accessible parking spaces for wheelchair users are available at the venue, with more at the TAIT lot, and a digital festival guide covers shuttles, accessibility and safety guidelines.

Pride events celebrate LGBTQ+ people and mark the Stonewall uprising of June 1969. Most combine a parade or march with a festival of performers, community groups, vendors and food.

The organizer has not announced dates for 2027 yet. In 2026 it was held June 6, 2026. It usually falls early June.
