About Pocono Pride Festival
The Pocono Pride Festival, called the PRIDE in the Poconos Celebration, is held in downtown Stroudsburg to champion inclusion and wellness for the LGBTQ+ community.
The festival started with a few friends who wanted more visible LGBTQ+ life in the Poconos. Over coffee, they shaped the idea, brought in community leaders and found wide local support. Today the event aims to promote inclusion and wellness for LGBTQAI+ people and allies in Monroe County and nearby areas.
The day in downtown Stroudsburg includes music, crafts, children's activities, a teen space and food trucks. Local drag kings, drag queens and DJs perform throughout the day, and the Center Stage has been hosted by Clan Ann, a comedic drag duo known across Northeast Pennsylvania. Resource tables share information on staying safe and well.
