Port Pride Festival

Port Pride is West Branch Pride's first annual Pride festival in Williamsport's Brandon Park. It brings together local organizations, performers, small businesses and community members for entertainment, education and community resources.

West Branch Pride was founded in 2019 as a 501(c)(3) of LGBTQ+ people and allies working to promote diversity, inclusion and equity in North Central Pennsylvania. Its mission is to create an open and affirming environment where people can express and celebrate different perspectives, and its goals include providing safe spaces, raising awareness of the concerns LGBTQ+ people face and building a local network of support resources.

Port Pride is the group's first festival, scheduled for October 10, 2026. It is meant to serve LGBTQ+ people, families and allies in Williamsport and across the Susquehanna Valley, with live performances, activities, community resources and time to connect. The organization says its funding goes directly into support, programs, events and educational opportunities.

Pride events celebrate LGBTQ+ people and mark the Stonewall uprising of June 1969. Most combine a parade or march with a festival of performers, community groups, vendors and food.
