St. Augustine Pride

St. Augustine Pride is organized by House of Prism, the city's LGBTQIA+ resource center. The main event is a morning march from King Street through the historic Lincolnville neighborhood to Eddie Vickers Park, where a festival follows. House of Prism also schedules Pride Month events throughout June.

House of Prism was co-founded by three friends who saw a need for LGBTQIA+ advocacy, education and services in St. Augustine. It began by creating safe spaces for adults to gather, then its volunteers started an annual teen dance party after noticing a lack of LGBTQIA+ representation in public schools. The group became an official nonprofit in 2020.

Its plans include a physical resource center with a queer library, meeting space, education courses and safer sex supplies, and a home for LGBTQIA+ kids in the foster care system.

For the 2026 march, participants met at 75 King Street at 8:30 a.m., and the 15- to 20-minute walk stepped off at 8:45. The festival at Eddie Vickers Park and the Gallimore Center ran until 3 p.m. with vendors, speakers and a DJ. Individual sponsors giving $100 or more are recognized at the community member level, and donations are tax-deductible.

Pride events celebrate LGBTQ+ people and mark the Stonewall uprising of June 1969. Most combine a parade or march with a festival of performers, community groups, vendors and food.

The organizer has not announced dates for 2027 yet. In 2026 it was held June 13, 2026. It usually falls a Saturday in mid-June, with events all month.
