Treasure Coast Pride Fest

Treasure Coast Pride Fest is hosted by The Sanctuary of the Treasure Coast, an LGBTQ+ community center in Port St. Lucie. The festival is held at the St. Lucie County Fairgrounds in Fort Pierce, with vendors, live music and a children's area.

The Sanctuary of the Treasure Coast started during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, when a small group created a Facebook group so LGBTQ+ people on the Treasure Coast could connect despite the isolation. As restrictions eased, the group began meeting in person, and talk of a building of their own led members to form a nonprofit. It is now a registered 501(c)(3), and members still use a private Facebook group with a resource chat that links them to LGBTQ+ friendly businesses and service providers.

The Sanctuary plans its programming around six pillars: activities, activism, celebrations, education, entertainment and socials. Groups include The Sanctuary Community Curtain, a theater group open to all experience levels, and Voices, a new gay men's chorus that requires no singing experience or ability to read music.

For now, most services are virtual, with in-person gatherings held at office space donated by RITELIFE services. The organization's long-term goal is to raise enough money to build and run a permanent home for LGBTQ+ people on the Treasure Coast.

Pride events celebrate LGBTQ+ people and mark the Stonewall uprising of June 1969. Most combine a parade or march with a festival of performers, community groups, vendors and food.

The organizer has not announced dates for 2027 yet. In 2026 it was held April 25, 2026. It usually falls spring (April in 2026, June 1 in 2025).
