Woodinville Pride

Woodinville Pride is a local Pride event in Woodinville on the Eastside.

The first Woodinville Pride took place at DeYoung Park in 2022. The idea came from a Woodinville parent of an LGBTQ teen who found few small, local Pride events on the Eastside. Organizers wanted LGBTQIA+ events close to home for people less willing or able to attend big-city Pride, including family-oriented events that show young people the resources available to them and give local queer artists, crafters and performers a safe place to showcase their work.

The Woodinville Pride Foundation, now a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, produces the event and keeps it free. It received its first 4Culture grant, Sustained Support funding made possible by new Doors Open legislation, which it is using to keep admission free and grow attendance. A volunteer planning committee runs the event, local businesses sponsor it, and $5 from each merchandise order goes to the foundation. Vendors and performers apply in advance under a published policy.

Pride events celebrate LGBTQ+ people and mark the Stonewall uprising of June 1969. Most combine a parade or march with a festival of performers, community groups, vendors and food.

The organizer has not announced dates for 2027 yet. In 2026 it was held June 6, 2026. It usually falls early June.
