About Yonkers Pride Festival
The Yonkers Pride Festival fills downtown Yonkers with entertainment, food, merchandise, activities and community organizations. 2026 was the ninth annual festival.
The festival is organized by Mayor Mike Spano's LGBTQ Advisory Board, the Yonkers Pride Planning Committee and the Downtown Yonkers Business Improvement District. Its mission is to produce an inclusive and secure event that promotes freedom of expression, motivates activists in the fight for equal rights and honors the diversity of the Yonkers LGBTQ+ community, their families and allies.
The 2026 festival ran from 1 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, June 13, along Main Street, under the theme Stronger Together. The entertainment lineup features drag queens, drag kings and other performers, with headlining appearances by stars of RuPaul's Drag Race. Vendors can apply to sell food, crafts and artwork. Each year the festival awards $1,000 scholarships to LGBTQ+ high school students and allies, with recipients honored during the event.
