San Francisco Dyke March

The San Francisco Dyke March is an annual rally and march held on the Saturday of Pride weekend. It begins with a street rally on Dolores Street near Dolores Park and then marches through the Mission District.

The San Francisco Dyke March is a membership organization, and members in good standing may be eligible to vote on incoming leadership and other decisions. In 2026 the march took place on June 27, and aerial footage showed marchers heading down Castro Street.

Organizers encourage public transit. The BART 16th Street station is about 0.6 miles, or a 13-minute walk, from Dolores Park, and Castro Station at Castro and Market streets is about half a mile away, with a few minor inclines on each route. The J line stops at Church and 18th Street, and bus lines 12, 14, 22, 24, 35, 48 and 49 all stop within about a mile. The F line is held up while the march is moving.

Seniors and people with mobility disabilities who cannot use regular transit can book San Francisco Paratransit van and taxi service if they are ADA certified. Rides cost $2.85 each way and must be reserved one to seven days ahead. The march also keeps an accessibility page with more resources.

Dyke Marches are grassroots marches for lesbian, bisexual and queer women and gender-expansive people, usually non-commercial and often held the same weekend as the city's main Pride.

The next edition is June 26, 2027. It usually falls saturday of San Francisco Pride weekend in late June.
