Spokane Pride Parade and Rainbow Festival

Spokane Pride holds an annual parade and Rainbow Festival in downtown Spokane in June, centered on Riverfront Park. The festival has several stages and includes a Two Spirit powwow. The organizer, formerly known as OutSpokane, also runs events through the year.

Spokane Pride organizes queer-centered events across the Inland Northwest throughout the year, and it also supports other LGBTQIA2S+ organizations and activists by lending event infrastructure and promotional help. Spokane's LGBTQIA2S+ community has gathered for Pride since 1992 to honor those who resisted the 1969 police raids at Stonewall.

The organization has adopted a set of community agreements. They commit to a harassment-free environment for everyone involved, protection from sexual misconduct, a Pride experience free of predatory behavior for participants under 18, and a stand against racism alongside BIPOC community members. It also pledges to design Pride experiences with people who live with a range of abilities so that the event is accessible to all, and to treat Pride as a pathway toward community well-being.

Through its Queer History Project, Spokane Pride collects local stories of people and places that helped build the community, and it invites visitors to add their own stories so future readers can find themselves in that history.

Pride events celebrate LGBTQ+ people and mark the Stonewall uprising of June 1969. Most combine a parade or march with a festival of performers, community groups, vendors and food.

The organizer has not announced dates for 2027 yet. In 2026 it was held June 13, 2026. It usually falls second Saturday of June.
