St. Pete Pride

St. Pete Pride is a weekend of events on the St. Petersburg waterfront, anchored by a Saturday parade along Bayshore Drive and a festival in North and South Straub Parks. A Trans March steps off from Vinoy Park before the main parade. The weekend also includes a Friday concert and night market and a Sunday street fair in the Grand Central District.

St Pete Pride is a nonprofit that works to strengthen St. Petersburg's history of inclusion and to offer a safe space for education, self-exploration and celebration for LGBTQIA+ people and allies. Its mission emphasizes equity and representation, with the goal of an open, compassionate community where people can thrive.

The organization entered the 2026 season facing a $200,000 shortfall in sponsorships and turned to individual donors to close the gap. Within about a month, supporters had given more than $55,000, roughly 28 percent of the goal. Leaders have been direct that the events, safe spaces and advocacy the community relies on depend on that support, and they ask for one-time or monthly tax-deductible gifts.

Fundraising also includes an annual charity golf event that brings together local businesses, community leaders and supporters. Sponsorships range from a single presenting sponsor with naming recognition and two foursomes, to team sponsorships that include registration for four golfers, to hole sponsorships with on-course recognition, and most levels include a vendor space at the event. Pride events celebrate LGBTQ+ people and mark the Stonewall uprising of June 1969. Most combine a parade or march with a festival of performers, community groups, vendors and food.

The organizer has not announced dates for 2027 yet. In 2026 it was held June 26-28, 2026. It usually falls last full weekend of June.
