About Pride on the Diamond

Pride on the Diamond is NWPA Pride Alliance's Pride festival in Meadville's Diamond Park.

Pride on the Diamond is part of NWPA Pride Alliance's summer season, which in 2026 ran under the campaign theme Make Waves. The 2026 event took place on Saturday, July 25, opening with a ceremony at 1 p.m. and running until 5 p.m. Visitors could browse local vendors, artisans and community resource tables, listen to a DJ and watch drag performances by local queens. Admission is free.

NWPA Pride Alliance has brought together the queer community in Erie and Crawford counties since 1992 and became a 501(c)(3) in 2012. It now runs more than 20 events a year and keeps them free whenever possible with help from community partners. The organization credits founding members Michael Mahler and Season Crannell, and its history includes a Love Wins celebration at the Erie County Courthouse in 2015 and a vigil for the victims of the Pulse nightclub shooting in 2016.
