Seattle Dyke March and Rally

The Seattle Dyke March and Rally is held on the Saturday of Pride weekend on Capitol Hill. The afternoon includes tabling, speakers, and performers, followed by an evening march. It is organized by the Seattle Dyke Alliance, and 2026 was the 32nd annual march.

The Seattle Dyke March aims to build community and to honor the experiences, activism and identities of queer women and dyke-identified people across the gender spectrum. Its organizers describe reclaiming the word dyke as a way to connect with the history of those who fought for their rights and to commit to spaces where dyke-aligned people feel welcome and supported.

Access planning is detailed. Both the rally and the march have a separate mask-enforced area at the front where high-fidelity masks are required, and masking is encouraged during tabling. Wheelchair-accessible restrooms are provided, ASL interpretation covers the full rally, and a limited number of spots in an accessibility vehicle are available on request.

The rally is held mostly on a brick courtyard, with some tables set up on grass, and organizers have worked to add an indoor sensory-friendly area. The event depends on volunteers for day-of roles.

Dyke Marches are grassroots marches for lesbian, bisexual and queer women and gender-expansive people, usually non-commercial and often held the same weekend as the city's main Pride.

The organizer has not announced dates for 2027 yet. In 2026 it was held June 27, 2026. It usually falls saturday evening of Seattle Pride weekend.
