Philly Pride March and Festival

The Philadelphia Pride March and Festival is produced by Philly Pride 365 and is one of the city's largest public gatherings. The 2026 edition ran under the theme Pride Is Power, with festival access by free ticket, including tickets distributed through community partners such as Galaei, The Attic Youth Center and Mazzoni Center.

The Philly Pride March and Festival is produced by Philly Pride 365 together with the Urban Affairs Coalition. For 2026 the festival moved from the Gayborhood to a new home on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway, after the previous year's Gayborhood festival drew more than 147,000 people.

The march steps off at 11 a.m. in the Gayborhood and heads to the flag-lined Parkway. It is vehicle-free, open to the public, and meant as a tribute to the Annual Reminders, the pickets for gay rights held in Philadelphia in the 1960s. Hundreds of community members, groups, leaders and allies march side by side, and Philly Pride's ever-growing rainbow flag usually makes an appearance.

The festival runs from noon to 7 p.m. along the Parkway from 21st Street to Eakins Oval, with three stages of entertainment, hundreds of vendors, pay-as-you-go food trucks and a new maker's market. General tickets cost 10 dollars and come with a wristband for entry and re-entry, with an optional VIP upgrade, and hardship access is available through organizations such as The Attic Youth Center, Mazzoni Center and Philly AIDS Thrift. Entrances are at 21st Street and the Parkway and at 24th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue.

Pride events celebrate LGBTQ+ people and mark the Stonewall uprising of June 1969. Most combine a parade or march with a festival of performers, community groups, vendors and food.

The organizer has not announced dates for 2027 yet. In 2026 it was held June 7, 2026. It usually falls first Sunday in June.
