About Pleasantville Pride
Pleasantville Pride is a family-friendly Pride celebration in the Westchester village of Pleasantville, with entertainment and activities for all ages. The group was founded in 2025.
Pleasantville Pride takes place in the Emanuel Lutheran Church parking lot on Manville Road, and for 2026 the organizers expanded the event with more entertainment and activities for all ages. It runs rain or shine unless conditions become unsafe, and the organizers publish accessibility information for visitors.
The 2026 lineup included DJ sets, performances by Arc Stages and by Venus and Sly Saturn, and a drag story hour with Angel Elektra. Kids could enjoy bounce houses, face painting, henna, a balloon artist, a free photo booth and free cotton candy.
Local groups led hands-on activities, including button-making with the Pleasantville Queer Alliance, phone charms with the Pleasantville High School GSA, bracelet making, beaded suncatchers and table tennis. Author Eric Rosswood and The Village Bookstore offered LGBTQIA+ books, and food came from Freddy's Patty Wagon, Brothers Fish and Chips and Kona Ice.
